The platform is very straight forward, full featured and constantly improving and adding features. We have been Acronis Cloud partners for over 5 years. I thank you in advance for sharing your experiences and anecdotes! I'm sweating thinking about going through all this for the other products, that's why I turn to you guys. So far I've already contacted the Iperius sales team with the questions above, but didn't get any precise answers. What we dream of: Being able to restore the VM straight into the cloud for fast recovery ( cries in VMWare.) from the offsite server directly to our own Hypervisor (Maybe even being able to change configs centrally?)īeing able to restore a full VM backup to any Hypervisor - e.g. We have our eyes on Veeam, Iperius, Intronis and Acronis.īackup of VMWare VMs (physical and/or Macs are nice to have)īackup to a local disk/share and to an offsite location (we're currently running an Altaro Offsite-Server on-prem)Ĭentral overview over all Backups, from all Clients, Hypervisors and VMs. Because we lack the resources to thoroughly test all the candidates, I wanted to ask for your 2 cents and/or experiences with some of them. Long story short, we want to evaluate other products. Very often the provided solution was to reinstall the agents (and restoring the config) or deleting all backups for a VM. While the UI is slick and the IT support response-time is stellar, we've since lost a ton of time running and fixing various issues. I'm working for an MSP with about 20 Clients, and about 30 servers to backup.Ībout a year ago we onboarded a handfull of customer onto Altaro VM Backup.
